Now that the hustle and bustle of the holidays are behind us, we look forward to a new year
filled with all the challenges, opportunities, and rewards that come with it. This is a time to
renew our commitment to our volunteers and to the community that we serve. 

We continue to support our stations and volunteers and to provide them with the tools needed to enhance their efforts as they minister to the needs of their neighbors. These volunteers offer aid andcomfort to all those with whom they come in contact, whether they are in hospitals, nursinghomes, senior centers, libraries, resource centers or in any of the other thirty nine stations included in the RSVP program.

With help from our sponsor, Rapides Council on Aging, Rose and I are here to assist volunteers and volunteer coordinators in each of the stations with whatever is needed to make volunteering more rewarding.  Welcome to our newest volunteers: Frank Toomey and Brenda Winthrop.
