RSVP Report
March 2010

As spring approaches, we see signs of hope and renewal that this season brings all around us. Soon, fields will be prepared for planting crops, plans will be made for weddings, graduations, and summer vacations. The recent snowfall in our area will be a distant memory as we welcome the more moderate temperatures of the season.

During this time of new beginnings, let us remember our obligation to minister to the needs of our neighbors, some of whom may not be as fortunate as we are. They may suffer from illness, debilitation, loneliness, and anxiety. As volunteers you can help to alleviate these conditions by a gentle touch or a kind word that will not be forgotten. You will be rewarded with smiles and words of gratitude from all those whom you serve.

Thanks to all our site managers and volunteer coordinators who work tirelessly to provide a warm, safe environment for all their clients. They plan activities, programs and outings that their clients will enjoy and benefit  from.

If you are interested in becoming an RSVP volunteer, please call our office at 442-2405 for information about the program and its benefits.

We extend a warm welcome to our newest volunteers:  Thomas Blair and Brenda Rosedale, who serve at RapidesRegional Medical Center and Norma Ducote at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
